Founded in 1980 by Ed and Pam
Bello Realty, Inc. was founded in 1980 with a small one-room office at the Island Surf building in Kihei, Maui Hawaii. Pam Bello did vacation rentals and managed residential properties and Ed Bello worked in resort property sales and commercial property management. Over the years, the little mom and pop company grew.

The original Coldwell Banker franchisees on Maui
In 1986 Ed and his then partner Mike McCormack were the original Coldwell Banket franchisees on Maui. After Mike bought Ed out of the franchise, Ed started to spend more time in the building-development side of the real estate business. Partnering with some of Maui’s best-known developers and on their own, Pam and Ed were responsible for some of the landmark Resort Commercial projects on Maui and many oceanfront and resort related residential projects. In the late 1980’s they bought their first Resort Commercial building in Breckenridge, Colorado where they now have a significant presence in that Resort’s Retail footprint. In 2022, the Bellos purchased the Resort Shops at the Island Surf building in Kihei where it all began.

Jessie Bello
Today, Jason Bello, their son and his wife Jessie, help run the family business. Bello Realty, Inc. is now the oldest, continuously operating Real Estate Company in the Kihei-South Maui area, still under the leadership of its founders.
